DID GOD INFLUENCE WORLD LEADERS TO ENSURE PEACE IN THIS WORLD?

PEACE THROUGH GODLINESS AND HONESTY

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Introduction:
How many of us right now believed that God influenced world leaders through His superintendency and power in order to maintain peace while in reality some world leaders influenced their comrades through authority to do violence against peaceful people living in their community?

If so be that God influenced all world leaders supernaturally, then how can they not live peacefully without corruption and live in accordance as to how God intend righteousness reign entirely on land?

THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

Many of us believed that all believers of Christ  through supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks can influence miraculously through special divine influence, the current world leaders in order to maintain peaceful reign and governance toward their citizenry and constituents. However, this notion is not what the Bible says.

Paul made precise statement that SUPPLICATION, PRAYERS, INTERCESSION, AND GIVING OF THANKS, BE MADE FOR ALL MEN (not only believers). Paul made it clear and simple that these aforementioned gratitude acts of plea will redound to appreciate the goodness of God and His plan of salvation in view of the gospel whom God delineates to the apostle of the Gentiles Paul towards the salvation of all men in this world. 

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Many preachers interpreted that the reason why we should intercede to God for world leaders or corrupt officials in our society so that God will change their minds and therefore they can rule peacefully and righteously.

When you read it and go over reading these passages, Paul through revelation intend ALL MEN (not just believers) including KINGS AND ALL THAT ARE IN AUTHORITY to submit to God's SALVATION PLAN AS HE ENTIRELY WANTED ALL MEN TO BE SAVED.  

SANCTION OF GODS SALVATION PLAN (the sole basis of all men's supplication, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks including kings and all officials in this world)

4 Who will have ALL MEN (including Kings and all officials) TO BE SAVED, and TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who GAVE HIMSELF A RANSOM "FOR ALL" (that's why ALL MEN WILL GIVE THANKS TO GOD), to be testified in due time.

SAD TO NOTE: NOT ALL MEN, KINGS AND OFFICIALS ACKNOWLEDGED THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD. 

Many preachers in their play of gimmickry entice believers and sway how their influence of supplications, intercession, prayers, could change government officials when the officials NOT SUBMIT TO THE AUTHORITY OF GOD WHICH HAD BEEN DELIVERED TO PAUL FOR ALL MEN'S EDIFICATION. 

Undoubtedly, this exhortation was delivered to Paul addressing ALL MEN IN THIS WORLD TO BE RECONCILED BACK TO GOD IN CONSONANCE TO HIS DIVINE PLAN OF SALVATION.

Supplication, prayers, intercession, and giving of thanks were exclusively and contextually relates to GOD'S PLAN HOW HE WILL "ALL MEN TO BE SAVED" THROUGH THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD WITH PAUL AS THE SOLE APOSTLE.   

TO REITERATE THE FACT

2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, BE MADE FOR ALL MEN;

2  FOR KINGS, and FOR ALL THAT ARE IN AUTHORITY; that WE (saints) MAY LEAD a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

My sense of understanding in these verses not only limit the believers role to do the supplication, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks by themselves alone but simply ALL MEN including KINGS AND THOSE WHO ARE IN AUTHORITY to submit themselves into God's Word and His plan of salvation whom Paul was set as a truth bearer and instrument causing REAL ACHIEVABLE PEACE that come from God.  

HOW SAINTS BECAME LEADERS OF PEACE?

My point in this article is to show what constitute peaceful reigning of an official in our society as God intend. It is not through and an effect of a believer's prayer for them with connotation God had special influence in their heart but it's through how believers LEAD TO LIVE PEACEFULLY in the most corrupt society with anticipation LEADERS MUST SUBMIT TO THE AUTHORITY OF GOD IN ACCORDANCE TO GOD'S PLAN HOW HE WILL ALL MEN TO BE SAVED AND BE RECONCILED TO HIM THROUGH THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD.

"ALL MEN IN THIS WORLD MUST GO BACK TO THE WORD OF TRUTH, THE SCRIPTURES AND DISPENSE THE TRUTH FOR EDIFICATION AND ESTABLISHMENT".

When a corrupt leader sees upon how a citizen of God lead to live a peaceful life in effect of the gospel, his reigning shall be made peaceful by all means. SINCE GOD IS THE AUTHOR OF PEACE, THEN THERE IS NO CONFUSION.

14 For HE IS OUR PEACE, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

WHAT KIND OF DISPOSITION GOD EXPECTS ALL PEOPLE LIKE HOW A SAINT LEAD THEM TO?

that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in ALL GODLINESS and HONESTY
