DO YOU NEED GOD'S TOUCH TODAY?

HOW SHOULD MAN'S WORK BE ACCEPTABLE TO GOD?

By: Bishop Albert Gran

2 Thessalonians 3:1-4 Exposition

WORK ON THE BASIS OF FAITH

2 Thessalonians 3 King James Version (KJV)

Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
The continuing fellowship of God's word which had caused stability into the lives of saints in this dispensation of grace makes Paul devote his ministry to deliver the gospel in form of FREE COURSE. However, gospel presentation today for most preachers is not for free but with charge. The truth being heard must be glorified by the hearers who had faith in it. Preachers must be patient in declaring the truth of the gospel even if it cost rejection from among those who have no faith in it.
The truth once reign in the life of every person will keep from wicked people who supposed to vainly instill ungodly ideas; and through imagination assume doctrines contrary to Pauline epistles especially on the things he commanded and teach particularly in the TEACHINGS OF GRACE ( Tit. 2:11-12).
The point of establishment in demonstration of God's faithfulness, and as how He worked in the lives of His saints today to keep us away from evil is by keeping abreast on God's word purely delivered in free course.
Keeping away from evil results how you made reasonable stand in accordance to doctrine you received from God. This is how you obtain FAITH that stands amidst adversities in life. It's not about cliches as religion taught you about God's demonstration for fleshly keeping through miraculous demonstration as thought by many teachers and preachers in our time.
The Lord is faithful based on the WORD OF FAITHFULNESS he declared in His word. Take the instance:

1 Corinthians 1:9King James Version (KJV)

9 GOD IS FAITHFUL, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

There were many reasons explicitly delivered to us how God declared His faithfulness to us today and in accordance to the word of His promise for His saints in the dispensation of grace and not to the promise He had delivered to special favored people of Israel in the economy of Law and in the prophets.
How many saints who were being killed by evil men in our times? Were they not being protected and their bodies not being harmed by these evil men? Limit your understanding in such cliche of traditional belief, can you justify such understanding that "GOD IS FAITHFUL TO DELIVER US FROM UNREASONABLE AND WICKED MEN ?"
My point is, God's promise of faithfulness reflects as to what is written as per words delivered to the saints in our times how we could be delivered from these evil men and be kept away from unreasonable thoughts. God's work was directed upon what He says to us today THROUGH HIS WORD. That's how we stand firmly in the ground of keeping God's promise to his saints for sake keeping and deliverance.

STRENGTHENED THROUGH PAULINE DOCTRINES
The context of this passage clearly sets forth THE GOSPEL IN FREE COURSE through which you can clearly learn the faithfulness of God which He used to cause you to be established and keep you from evil. Connect the sense in verse 4, as it reads:
And we have CONFIDENCE IN THE LORD TOUCHING YOU, that YE BOTH DO AND WILL DO do the THINGS WHICH WE COMMAND YOU.
The privileged cause and grace which is at work in the lives of believers when you need THE TOUCH OF GOD IS VERY SIMPLE. Do and will do the things Paul declared today through the special revelation Christ delivered to him for us all members of the church, the Body of Christ in our times.
If indeed you need the TOUCH OF GOD, be resolute to prove soundness of your faith by recognizing the truth in our times through declaration of the gospel of the GRACE OF GOD.

Grace and peace.
